The Schimmel K219 hammer heads are crafted from highly elastic merino felt, selected for its exceptional flexibility and low damping characteristics. This premium felt is produced in Germany using a traditional fulling process and only the finest merino wool. The hammer cores are made from carefully chosen hardwoods and are paired with tension-regulating underfelts to ensure optimal stability and performance.
Together, these elements create a wide palette of tonal colors across all dynamic levels, while the felt’s quick rebound and short string contact time ensure long-sustaining tones and outstanding clarity.
